FairWeather Golf Academies

Matt's passion to help others play better golf comes from his own experiences with instruction as an accomplished junior and amateur player.

Moving to live in Spain at the age of 12 he played at the highest level of amateur golf representing his club and county at a national level in both junior and adult championships across the country.

Having graduated as a PGA Professional, Matt was promoted and at the age of just 22 became one of the youngest Head Professionals in the UK. He managed all golf operations whilst continually looking to increase his understanding and ability to improve his client’s golf as quickly and efficiently as possible.

His approach to teaching varies depending on the student; no player is the same and he prides himself on being able to adapt to all level of ability.

Matt’s upbeat and enthusiastic character exudes his passion for teaching golf. Watching the progression of his client’s game and seeing their enjoyment and sense of achievement within their performance is what he ultimately strives to accomplish.
